Hummingbirds in Spring |
Awaken to singing birds in the trees
For whom the bell tolls, it tolls for a bee
Slowly the sun rises in the east
For all to see, and to welcome springs best
Trees shoot forth their buds pink and white
Ahh, nature is such a delight
Snows nearly melted from the ground
Flocks of birds return bringing a lovely sound
Look, a gorgeous blue sky
Lily and Iris, no longer shy
Groundhog said we’d have an early spring
So all of nature could do its thing
April showers will soon fall
Fields of flowers a delight to all
Bees and butterflies flit hither and yon
Reaping natures bounty honey bun
