Will a Meteor Wipe Out All Life, and the Earth?

Who do you believe, God or science?

                                                       Asteroid

Anyone who truly believes the Bible is God's word knows better than anything completely wiping out all life on earth.

Even if a meteor were to strike the earth, that isn't new, but neither have they destroyed all life on earth, nor the earth itself.

God's plan for mankind and the earth have never changed from it's creation onward.

God's purpose for mankind and the earth?

Genesis 1:28 states: "Further, God blessed them and God said to them: "Be fruitful and become many and fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving upon the earth.""

Genesis 2:8-15 tells how God planted the Garden of Eden and settled man in the garden. While it is too lengthy to quote it all here, I provide you the opportunity to read it from your own Bible.

God's purpose is certain:

Isaiah 55:11 States the following: "my word that goes forth from my mouth will prove to be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly do that is which I have delighted, and it will have certain success in that for which I have sent it."

Isaiah 46:10, 11: Tells that God is, "the One telling from the beginning the finale, and from long ago the things that have not been done; the one saying, "My own counsel will stand, and everything that is my delight I shall do;"

Earth to be filled with peaceful, perfect men and women:

Psalms 72:7: "In his days the righteous one will sprout,   And the abundance of peace until the moon is no more."

Isaiah 45:18 states the following: "For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the [true] God, the Former of the earth and the maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited: "I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.""

Isaiah 9:6,7 :  "For there has been a child born to us, there has been a son given to us; and the princely rule will come to be upon his shoulder. And his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. To the abundance of the princely rule and to peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and upon his kingdom in order to establish it firmly and to sustain it by means of justice and my means of righteousness, from now on and to time indefinite. The very zeal of Jehovah of armies will do this."

Paradise to be restored by Kingdom:

Matthew 6:9, 10: "You must pray, then, this way: "' Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom take place, as in heaven, also upon earth.'"

Revelation 21:3-5: "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.

"And the One seated of the throne said: "Look! I am making all things new." Also, he says: "Write, because these words are faithful and true."

Revelation 21:6 continues on, saying: "And he said to be: "They have come to pass! I am the Al'pha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To anyone thirsting I will give from the fountain of the water of life free."

Earth will never be destroyed or depopulated:

Literal earth to be permanent:

Ecclesiastes 1:4, 5: "A generation is going, and a generation is coming; but the earth is standing even to times indefinite. And the sun also has flashed forth, and it is coming panting to its place where it is going to flash forth."

Psalms 104:5: "He has founded the earth upon its established places;   It will not be made to totter to time indefinite."

Mankind of Noah's time destroyed, not the earth:

2 Peter 3:5-7: "For, according to their wish, this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from or old and an earth standing compactly out of water in the midst of water by the word of God; and by those [means] the world of the time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water. But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire, and are reserved for the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men."

Genesis 7:23: "Thus he wiped out every living existing thing was on the surface of the ground, from man to beast, to moving animal and to flying creature of the heavens, and they were wiped off the earth; and only Noah and those who were with hi in the ark kept on surviving."

Example gives hope of surviving in our time:

Matthew 24:37-39: "Just as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. For as they were in those days before the flood, eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark; and they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, so the presence of the Son if man will be."

Wicked to be destroyed, but a "great crowd" survive:

2 Thessalonians 1:6-9: "This takes into account that it is righteous on God's part to repay tribulation to those who make tribulation for you, but, to you who suffer tribulation, relief along with us at the revalation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels in a flaming fire, as he brings vengeance upon those who to not know God and those who do not obey the good news about our Lord Jesus. These very ones will undergo the judicial punishment of everlasting destruction from before the Lord and from the glory of his strength,"

Revelation 7:9, 14: "After these things I saw, and, look! a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes; and there were palm branches in their hands."

"So right away I sand to him: "My lord, you are the one that knows." And he said to me: "These are the ones that come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
